Washburn Christian Challenge members just came back after a weekend in Salina for Fall Conference. Christian Challenge students from Kansas and Nebraska joined together to hear God's Word and to worship. Between 500 and 600 people showed up for the event.Upon arrival everyone was given the option of camping or sleeping in the dorms. Many camped and sat around campfires at night singing songs. A number of people slept in hammocks.
On Saturday participants were given the option of attending two out of nine sermons called workshops. About a dozen speakers presented the Word of God with titles ranging from friendships to the Bible, witnessing and more.
Students enjoyed themselves by singing at worship, listening to sermons and spending time with friends.
